How do I book the Backstreet Boys Cruise?

The Backstreet Boys Cruise can only be purchased through Rose Tours. If purchased through Royal Caribean, Expedia or any other 3rd party seller your cabin will be cancelled and refunded. Official bookings can be made here.

 
ALL  GUESTS WILL NEED A PASSPORT TO ENTER BARCELONA AS WELL AS FOR THE CRUISE. PASSPORTS MUST BE VALID FOR UP TO 6 MONTH FOLLOWING THE CRUISE.
 
Please consult your local Consulate for details on any necessaryVisa's or travel documents.

Do I need to register a cruise account?

Yes, all passengers need to register a cruise account. We need full legal names, dates of birth, citizenship as well as addresses, email, phone number and emergency contact for all passengers. Only one guest needs to make the booking. When booking you must put in the first name, last name and email of your traveling partners in order for them to be placed in your reservation. What is not included in the price?

Airfare or Ground Transportation to Barcelona, Spain. Transfers from the airport to the cruise ship. Dining in the specialty reasturants. Personal expenses such as photos, specility dining, spa services, Gambling, art auctions, internet access, laundry services, souvenirs, sodas, bottled water or alcoholic beverages (except at our on board cocktail parties.)
 

How can I get to the ship (transportation)?

The ship leaves from the port of Barcelona. You can get to Barcelona by plane, car, or bus. The Port of Barcelona is approximately 40 minutes from the airport. A taxi or shuttle bus can be taken from the airport to the cruise port. For more information on Transportation click here

Do children get a discount/Age Requirements?

No. Children pay the same price regardless to age. Anyone under 8 months is not recommended for travel. Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a 21 or older passenger. The exceptions to this policy are: Married minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple is married. The couple must have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.
 
 
How often can I eat?

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served everyday in the formal dining room and in Windjammer Cafe. Food is also served 24 hours a day through room service (late night service charge of $3.95 applies from midnight to 5:00AM).
 
The Brilliance of the Seas has 4 additional specilalty dinining options, which are reservation only and have an additional charge. These reasturants include Chops (A Steakhouse), Giovanni's Table (Italian), Izumi Japanese Cuisine and Cantina Mexican restaurant. Reservations will be available closer to sailing date.  
 
How much money will I need to bring?

This is dependent upon your personal spending habits and budget. Optional daily photographs range from $5-$20. Shore Excursions/Tours range from $40-$300 per person. Spa services range from $30 and up. According to your personal budget, set aside money for optional expenses like souvenirs, sodas, alcoholic beverages, gambling, spa serices and personal items.
 
What should I pack?

It's a Party! Dress how you feel. We will be having theme nights which will be announced as we get closer to the cruise. Pack Lightly.
 
 
Guests are allowed to bring up to 2 bottles wine or champagne per stateroom. Royal Caribbean does not allow for guests to bring on water, soda or beer. There will be drink packages available for purchase onboard.

Is there a doctor onboard?

Should you get sick onboard, you will need to go to the medical facilities. The doctor will diagnose the illness and advise accordingly. There is a minimum of one fully licensed physician, and a minimum of two licensed nurses onboard Physicians are available to render services at a customary fee. While at sea or in port, the availability of medical care may be limited.
 
Can I purchase a Private Event Pass separately?

No. It's a part of the cruise package deal only. Any cruise packages booked through any other means other than Rose Tours will not be valid for the Backstreet Boys Cruise.
 
Air Travel Information

All guests are encouraged to arrive the night prior to the cruise to avoid any travel delays. If arriving on May 10th, book flights that arrive into Barcelona no later than 1:00PM local time.
 
On May 14th, book depatrue flights from Barcelona no earlier than 1:00 PM
 
Are pets allowed on the ship?

With the exception of seeing eye dogs or service animals, no pets will be allowed onboard ship.
 
What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made through October 29, 2015 incur the loss of your $300 deposit.
Cancellations made from October 30th 2015 - February 25, 2016 incur a penalty of 50% of your total price.
No refunds will be given to cancellations made after February 25th, 2016.

If you have taken insurance and you need to cancel for a covered condition, you can make a claim with the insurance carrier to recover any lost payments. A claim must be made with the insurance carrier withing 90 days of cancellation.
 
 
Name changes are permitted for $100 per person, however at least one passenger from the original reservation must remain in the cabin. Changing all names in a cabin are not permitted and considered a cancellation. Name Changes are not permitted for Match Program or Single Reservations. Cancellation penalties will apply.
 
Name changes can only be made with people not currently booked on the cruise.

The person taking your place needs to register at www.reservations.rosetours.com and add their credit card information.

You must work out the money already paid among yourselves. The person taking your place pays the remaining balance to Rose Tours.

When you are ready to complete the name change, email one of the staff at Rose Tours the name of the person taking your place and who is paying the $100 name change fee

Also have your roommates email one of the staff at Rose Tours that they approve the name change. No name change will take place till everyone on the reservation agrees in writing to the change. Once all the emails have been received, the name change will be completed.

The $100 fee will be charged and confirmation will be emailed to all roommates.

All name changes must be in by April 19th. No name changes will be accepted after April 19th.
 
 
You cannot double book your self on the cruise. If you double book, your reservations will be cancelled and your money refunded. Please only have one member of your party book the cruise for you. If 2 members of the same reservation party make 2 seperate reservations they will both be cancelled.
 

Upgrades are taken on a per reservation basis, if there is availability in the cabin and on the cruise itself.

Downgrades are prohibited. No Downgrade request will be taken.

Pregnancy Information

Expectant mothers will need to be less than 24 weeks gestation period on day of debarkation.

If they are 24 weeks or greater,  expectant mom will not be permitted to sail, since there are no medical facilities onboard for prenatal care nor  equipments that may be required for the safely of the mom and unborn child.

There are no exceptions to this rule and is strictly enforced.  

In addition, guest with a Y status means the cruise line has  received the Pregnancy certificate and they are clear to sail.  

Can I resell my cabin?

Under no circumstances are you permitted to resell your cabin on EBay, Craigslist or any other online site.
